Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to training, courses and related services provided by Manse Core Group Limited, including training delivered under The Manse Method® and Emotion Pathway®.
They apply whether training is purchased by an individual or commissioned by an organisation, including businesses, schools, emergency services, public-sector bodies, charities and other organisations.
By booking training, accepting a proposal or quotation, issuing a purchase order, paying an invoice or otherwise confirming a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Where an organisation makes a booking on behalf of its employees, delegates or other participants, the organisation is responsible for ensuring that relevant participants are made aware of any terms, professional standards or participation requirements that apply to them.
Bookings and confirmation
A booking is confirmed when we accept the booking in writing, receive payment, accept a purchase order or otherwise confirm the agreed training arrangement.
For organisational training, the agreed proposal, quotation or statement of work may specify the training to be provided, participant numbers, delivery method, dates, fees and any additional requirements.
Where there is any conflict between these Terms and an agreed written proposal or contract, the specifically agreed written terms will take precedence.
Fees and payment
All fees will be confirmed before booking and are quoted in pounds sterling unless otherwise agreed.
Payment must be made in accordance with the terms shown on the invoice, quotation or booking confirmation.
Organisations may be invoiced directly and purchase orders can be accommodated where agreed in advance.
Where payment by instalments has been agreed, all instalments remain payable in accordance with the agreed payment schedule.
Organisational training
The organisation is responsible for providing accurate participant information and, where training is delivered at its premises, a suitable and safe environment in which the training can take place.
Participant numbers will be agreed in advance. Additional participants may require our prior agreement and may incur additional charges.
An organisation may substitute a participant where appropriate, provided we are notified before the training and the replacement participant meets any applicable eligibility requirements.
Cancellation and rescheduling
For open courses booked by individuals, the cancellation terms stated at the point of booking will apply.
For training commissioned by an organisation:
- More than 30 days before delivery: no cancellation fee, excluding any non-refundable costs already incurred by us.
- 15–30 days before delivery: 50% of the agreed training fee.
- 14 days or less before delivery: 100% of the agreed training fee.
Where possible, we will work with an organisation to reschedule training rather than cancel it, subject to availability.
Any reasonable non-refundable travel, accommodation, venue or other costs already incurred specifically for the booking remain payable.
If Manse Core Group Limited needs to reschedule training due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will offer an alternative date. Our liability will not extend to consequential costs incurred by the organisation unless expressly agreed otherwise.
The Manse Method® Practitioner Training
Attendance at The Manse Method® Practitioner Training does not by itself confer Certified Practitioner status.
Participants seeking certification must successfully complete the training and any required post-training assessment, case studies, competency requirements and professional standards communicated as part of the programme.
Certification permits the practitioner to use The Manse Method® within the scope of their training and subject to the applicable professional standards.
Certification does not grant permission to teach, train, certify or commercially reproduce The Manse Method®.
Emotion Pathway® training
Emotion Pathway® training is designed to provide participants with practical skills for use within the context and scope of the training provided.
Completion of Emotion Pathway® training does not qualify or certify a participant as a Certified Practitioner of The Manse Method®.
Neither an organisation nor its participants may teach, reproduce, adapt, sublicense or commercially deliver Emotion Pathway®, The Manse Method® or associated training to others unless expressly authorised by Manse Core Group Limited in writing.
Intellectual property
The Manse Method®, Emotion Pathway®, the 5R framework and associated training content, course materials, presentations, videos, workbooks, manuals, processes, branding and other materials are protected intellectual property.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, purchasing or attending training provides a limited right to use the training and materials for their intended purpose. It does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.
Training materials must not be copied, reproduced, published, distributed, sold, adapted, uploaded, shared with non-participants or used to create derivative training without our prior written permission.
Live or recorded training must not be photographed, audio-recorded, video-recorded or otherwise captured without prior written permission.
Professional responsibility
Our training is educational and skills-based. It does not constitute medical diagnosis, medical treatment, psychological diagnosis or emergency mental-health care.
Participants must work within the boundaries of their own professional competence, qualifications, role and applicable organisational policies.
The Manse Method® and Emotion Pathway® are not substitutes for safeguarding procedures, emergency intervention, medical care, psychological services or other specialist support where these are required.
Safeguarding
Organisations remain responsible for their own safeguarding policies, statutory responsibilities, referral procedures and professional obligations.
Where training involves schools, children, vulnerable people or regulated environments, Emotion Pathway® is intended to operate alongside, not replace, established safeguarding and support pathways.
Outcomes
People respond differently to training and to the approaches taught.
While our programmes are designed to provide practical skills and frameworks, Manse Core Group Limited does not guarantee any particular individual, clinical, organisational or commercial outcome from participation in training.
Online training
Participants attending online training are responsible for having suitable internet access, equipment and a private environment appropriate for participation.
Access links and training materials are provided for registered participants only and must not be shared with others.
Digital training materials
Digital course materials supplied as part of training are licensed to the registered participant or commissioning organisation for the permitted purpose.
Where digital content is sold directly to consumers with immediate access, any statutory cancellation rights and any request for consent to immediate supply will be dealt with in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Confidentiality
Participants may encounter personal or sensitive information during training discussions or practical exercises.
All participants are expected to respect the privacy and confidentiality of others and not disclose personal information shared during training outside the training environment.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to applicable law, Manse Core Group Limited will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of training or materials.
Organisations and practitioners remain responsible for how training is subsequently applied within their own professional or organisational context.
Changes to training
We may make reasonable changes to course content, materials, trainers, delivery methods or schedules where necessary to maintain or improve the quality of training.
Where a material change affects a confirmed booking, we will communicate this to the purchaser as soon as reasonably practicable.
Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
